DESCRIPTION
CP-ADDITIVE is a phosphate-free liquid detergent additive
formulated for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, medical device
and food and beverage industries. It effectively removes
a wide range of process and research residues, and is
particularly effective against oils, greases,petrolatums
and waxes. This product is effective in pharmaceutical/biotech
process cleaning, cosmetic process cleaning and laboratory
glassware washing.
Low
foaming CP-ADDITIVE produces a stable foam with agitation
that is ideal for manual cleaning. It is also an excellent
choice for low energy cleaning systems such as soak
tanks and low pressure spraying. When used with compatible
alkaline cleaners, CP-ADDITIVE rinses completely to
achieve a clean, residue-free surface. The advanced
surfactant blend incorporates powerful emulsifiers to
improve cleaning and rinsing and remains effective across
a wide temperature range.
When
used as directed, CP-ADDITIVE is safe for use on both
glassware and stainless steel substrates and a wide
variety of plastics including polycarbonate.

DIRECTIONS
CP-ADDITIVE is designed for use in immersion, pressure spray,
foam and manual wash applications and is ideal for removal of
topical ointments, creams, and petrolatum based products. Typical
operating concentrations of CP-ADDITIVE run from 0.2% to 5.0%
(v/v), with compatible alkaline cleaners and depend on temperatures,
soil loads, and cleaning methods used. Proper care and protective
equipment are required for manual cleaning—see the MSD
sheet.
Biodecontamination
Group Technical Service Chemists and Engineers will help you
establish an improved cleaning procedure for your applications
using CP-ADDITIVE. If required, our testing laboratory can
test your residue and screen various cleaner concentrations,
temperatures and exposure times to determine the optimum cleaning
conditions and also provide cleaning validation assistance.
Concentration
Testing for CP-ADDITIVE- Several options exist for the feed
and concentration control of CP-811, including a standard
acid/base titration, pH and conductivity.
Residue
Testing for CP-ADDITIVE- Standard analytical methods may be
used for determining absence of CP-8ADDITIVE on product contact
surfaces. Surfactant titrations, chelant assays, specific
ion analysis, conductivity, pH and Total Organic Carbon (TOC)
are all viable methods of analysis. Let us assist you in your
choice of appropriate methodology.
