DESCRIPTION
CP-427 is a concentrated liquid, acidic cleaner/descaler
formulated for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and medical
device and food and beverage industries. It effectively
removes a wide range of process and research residues,
from inorganic salts and scales, particulate carbon and
urine scales. This is a product of choice to clean antacid
equipment. Routine use minimizes rust and rouge on stainless.
When used as directed, CP-427 is safe for use on both
glassware and stainless steel substrates and a wide variety
of plastics. The product is especially effective in animal
cagewash applications on polycarbonate and other caging.
CP-427 is excellent for laboratory glassware washing and
drug/biotech process cleaning. It is an excellent final
wash agent prior to pure water rinse.
CP-427 is designed to be low foaming at all temperatures
for easy rinsing and will not cavitate recirculation pumps.
Extremely free rinsing promotes a clean, residue free
surface. The inherent chelation of citric acid gives excellent
hard water tolerance eliminates mineral deposits. This
product is phosphate-free. |
DIRECTIONS
CP-427 is designed for use in immersion, pressure spray and
recirculating spraywash applications and is ideal for glassware
and animal cage washing machines and recirculating Clean-In-Place
(CIP) systems. Typical operating concentrations of CP-427 run
from 0.2% to 5.0% by volume and depend on temperatures, soil
loads, and cleaning methods used.
Biodecontamination
Group Technical Service Chemists and Engineers will help you
establish an improved cleaning procedure for your application
including recommended CP-427 dilution. If required, our testing
laboratory can test your residue and screen various cleaner
concentrations, temperatures and exposure times to determine
the optimum cleaning conditions.
Concentration
Testing for CP-427 - Several options exist for the feed and
control of CP-427, including a standard acid/base titration
for verifying use concentration and for checking residual
CP-427 following rinsing. Conductivity can also be used for
accurate automated feed and control and for residue determination
Biodecontamination Technical Service can help you with these
and other methods such as TOC.
