DESCRIPTION
Complete I is a glycolic/citrus acid cleaner/descaler
formulated for the research, pharmaceutical and biotech
industries. If effectively removes a wide range of process
and research residues, such as inorganic salts and scales,
particulate carbon and urine scale, fecal matter, oil
and proteins. This product is very effective in animal
cage wash applications and will clean and descale in just
one wash cycle, eliminating the use of an alkaline detergent,
eliminating a full wash cycle, improve through-put, and
reduce water consumption. This product is very effective
in pharmaceutical/biotech process cleaning and derouging.
Low
foaming COMPLETE I will not cavitate recirculation pumps.
COMPLETE I is extremely free rinsing to achieve a clean,
residue free surface and has excellent hard water tolerance
to eliminate mineral deposits. The surfactant system
in COMPLETE I remains effective across a wide temperature
and pH range, even during pH neutralization prior to
discharge, thus reducing redeposition of process residues.

DIRECTIONS
Typical operating concentrations of COMPLETE I run from 0.2%
to 5.0% (v/v) and depend on temperatures, soil loads, and cleaning
methods used. COMPLETE I is designed for use in immersion, pressure
spray and recirculating spraywash applications and is ideal
for animal cage and glassware washing machines and recirculating
Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems. Higher concentrations are typically
used for periodic derouging and descaling.
Biodecontamination Group Technical Service Representatives will
help you establish an improved cleaning procedure and a residue
testing procedure for your applications using COMPLETE I dilution.
If required, our testing laboratory can test your residue and
screen various cleaner concentrations, temperatures and exposure
times to determine the optimum cleaning conditions and also
provide validation assistance.
Concentration Testing for COMPLETE I- Several options exist
for the feed and concentration control of COMPLETE I, including
a standard acid/base titration, pH and conductivity.
Residue
Testing for COMPLETE I- Standard analytical methods may be
used for determining absence of COMPLETE I on product contact
surfaces. Acidity titrations, chelant assays, specific ion
analysis, conductivity, pH and Total Organic Carbon (TOC)
are all viable methods of analysis. Let us assist you in your
choice of appropriate methodology.
